NM CreativeCon is a statewide celebration of New Mexico’s creative community, taking place from March through June 2026. Hosted by the New Mexico Economic Development Department’s Creative Industries Division, CreativeCon brings together creative entrepreneurs, community partners, and support organizations from across the state to connect, learn, and share ideas.

Sweepstakes terms & conditions
Sweepstakes & awarded opportunity disclaimer – NM CreativeCon 2026
Participation in any sweepstakes, marketing placement, or awarded opportunity offered as part of NM CreativeCon 2026 is subject to the following terms and conditions.
General eligibility & conditions
- No separate purchase, payment, or other consideration is required to participate in any sweepstakes or selection process.
- Participants must be registered attendees and present in person at the time of selection to be eligible.
- Entrants must be a business or persons engaged in creative enterprise as defined under the divisions enabling statute 2023 Regular House Bill 8
- Participants must complete an event survey during the allotted time at the event to be eligible for entry.
- All sweepstakes awards and placements are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and have no cash value.
- Awarded opportunities may not be reissued, transferred, or substituted once redeemed or completed.
- Participants must respond to requests for information or coordination within five (5) business days of notification unless otherwise specified.
- Failure to meet eligibility requirements, attend in person, or respond within the required timeframe may result in forfeiture of the awarded opportunity, at the discretion of the Creative Industries Division.
- By accepting any awarded opportunity, participants waive any liability of the State of New Mexico, the New Mexico Economic Development Department, the Creative Industries Division, and any sponsoring partners for costs, consequences, delays, or unforeseen challenges associated with the opportunity.
- For certain sweepstakes, eligibility may require correctly answering a brief, objective knowledge-based question about CreativeCon programming or New Mexico’s creative industries.
New Mexico magazine feature placement sweepstakes
To be eligible for New Mexico Magazine feature placements, selected participants must:
- Be a business or persons engaged in creative enterprise as defined under House Bill 8
- Be based in and operating from a primary location within the State of New Mexico
- Be present in person at the time of selection
- Actively communicate with the State and New Mexico Magazine regarding the placement (respond to all requests for information within five (5) business days)
Failure to meet eligibility requirements or communication timelines may result in forfeiture of the placement.
Selection through this sweepstakes does not guarantee publication. All editorial decisions, scheduling, content approval, and final placement are solely at the discretion of New Mexico Magazine and subject to its editorial standards and production timelines. Participation does not confer funding, contractual rights, regulatory benefits, or endorsement by the State of New Mexico.
Meta advertising credit sweepstakes (Facebook / Instagram)
Meta advertising credit placements are awarded under the following conditions:
- Credits are provided as sponsored or collaborative advertising placements, coordinated by the Creative Industries Division
- Awards are not exchangeable for cash and have no cash value
- Advertising must be placed through a business, organization, or non-personal Facebook or Instagram page
- Personal accounts are not eligible
- A legal business entity is not required, provided the page represents a creative business, organization, or project
- Advertising placements are coordinated and executed through state-managed or state-approved advertising accounts. As such, all content submitted for placement must comply with applicable state advertising standards, platform requirements, and administrative guidelines related to content format, timing, and use.
- Selected participants must respond to coordination and content requests within five (5) business days
Failure to communicate or comply with requirements may result in forfeiture of the advertising placement. Placements are subject to Meta platform rules, availability, and scheduling.
Other Sponsored Sweepstakes & Awarded Services
Other sweepstakes awards including consulting hours, professional services, activity passes, or similar offerings are:
- Provided by third-party sponsoring organizations
- Subject to the provider’s own rules, availability, scheduling, and conditions
- Not administered, guaranteed, or controlled by the State of New Mexico or the New Mexico Economic Development Department
The State is not responsible for provider availability, scheduling conflicts, or outcomes related to third-party services.
Liability Waiver
By accepting and using any sweepstakes award, placement, or awarded opportunity, participants acknowledge and agree that:
- Participation is at their own discretion and risk
- The State of New Mexico, the New Mexico Economic Development Department, the Creative Industries Division, and sponsoring partners assume no liability for outcomes, costs, delays, or challenges related to the awarded opportunity
