Job Training Incentive Program Results

In fiscal year 2026, the Job Training Incentive Program (JTIP) supported 70 companies across New Mexico. Through the approval of these projects, the JTIP board helped train up to 1,460 workers in full-time positions, who earned an average wage of $37.47.

Of these companies:

  • 20 were located in rural communities and trained 656 workers at an average wage of $28.07
  • 50 companies were in urban communities, training 804 workers at an average wage of $44.80

Additionally:

  • JTIP approved 48 interns with an average wage of $29.92
  • The Step Up program supported professional development for 109 incumbent workers
  • 46 film crew members received advancement opportunities through the Film Crew Advancement Program (FCAP)
